Job summary

PERSOL Singapore seeks a Senior/Staff Engineer to lead and contribute to cutting‑edge 6G research, shaping future wireless standards and technology roadmaps.

You will develop technical proposals for international bodies (e.g., 3GPP), analyze trends, and mentor engineers while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Communications or related field.
• Expert knowledge of digital signal processing, wireless communication algorithms, or protocol design.
• Deep familiarity with mobile communication standards (3G, 4G, 5G and beyond).
• Strong experience in submitting and defending proposals in international standardization bodies.

Job Requirements

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering or related field.
• Expert knowledge of digital signal processing, wireless communication algorithms, or protocol design.
• Deep familiarity with mobile communication standards (3G, 4G, 5G and beyond).
• Strong experience in submitting and defending proposals in international standardization bodies.
• Programming skills (C/C++, Matlab, Python) are highly desirable.
• Solid industry track record, ideally including patenting or published contributions to wireless standards.
• Preferred expertise in at least one area: AI for communications, satellite systems, or wireless energy engineering.
