Job summary

PERSOL Singapore seeks a highly skilled wireless systems engineer to design, develop, and validate 6G prototypes and PoC systems. You will implement and optimize wireless algorithms in both lab and field settings, ensuring robust performance against standards.

You will lead testbed integration, manage software-hardware co-development, and drive end-to-end validation and benchmarking in collaboration with ecosystem partners and research labs.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Communications or related field.
• Strong DSP and wireless algorithm development skills; hands-on system implementation.
• Deep understanding of mobile communication systems (3G/4G/5G and beyond).
• Experience deploying prototypes and testbeds; programming in C/C++, Matlab, Python, Verilog, VHDL.
• Ability to lead or collaborate within multidisciplinary teams for wireless system development.

• Design, develop, and validate new technology prototypes and proof-of-concept systems for 6G wireless networks.
• Implement and optimize wireless communication algorithms in lab and field environments.
• Lead testbed system integration, including software and hardware co-development.
• Oversee end-to-end system validation, verification, and performance benchmarking against relevant standards.
• Collaborate with ecosystem partners (infra.vendors, universities, labs) on prototyping and demonstration projects.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of mobile communication systems (3G, 4G, 5G, and beyond) and relevant specifications.
• Experience deploying prototypes and testbeds: programming proficiency in C/C++, Matlab, Python, Verilog, VHDL.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or work within multidisciplinary teams for wireless system development.
• Industry experience, ideally including practical demo or PoC achievements.
• Preferred expertise: AI-powered communications,satellite comms, or energy efficiency for wireless testbeds.
