A leading company in the energy sector is looking for a Trading Support Assistant. In this role, you will manage commodity trading documents and contracts, arrange funding processes, and support trading operations. The position requires a relevant degree and at least 2 years of experience in trading or shipping documentation.

Job description

Job Title: Trading Support Assistant

Working location: Suntec

Working day: Mon - Fri 8 am -5 pm

Salary: $4000 - $5000

Responsibilities

• Handle general commodity trading and shipping documents
• Prepare and manage trading contracts, L/Cs, sales billing, etc. via SAP (ERP)
• Arrange daily funding processes with banks and Korea HQ using SAP (ERP)
• Support trading contracts and maintain daily/monthly trading records and P&L reports
• Research new products, suppliers/customers, and business opportunities in the Energy (LNG) sector
• Attend business meetings with traders, suppliers, and customers; record meeting minutes
• Able to multi-task and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Qualification

• Degree/Diploma in Business, International Trade, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in trading operations or shipping documentation (commodities or energy sector preferred)
• Knowledge of international trade documentation: LC handling, shipping docs, sales billing, and trading contracts
• Hands-on experience with SAP (ERP systems) for documentation, billing, and financial processing
• Familiar with daily funding arrangements, P&L tracking, and coordination with HQ or banks
• Skills for exploring new products, partners, and opportunities, especially in the energy/LNG sector
