Job summary

A safety advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a Safety Officer to implement all Workplace Safety and Health initiatives across various sites. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in EHS Engineering and possess at least 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Semiconductor industry. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations and conducting regular audits and training sessions for safety briefings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Workplace Safety and Health.
• Experience in the Semiconductor industry is highly preferred.
• Preferably a MOM Registered WSH Officer.

Safety Officer (Semiconductor)

5 days, 9am-6pm

Salary: $3200- $4000

Location: Islandwide, travelling to different site is required

Job Description

• Drive, co-ordinate and implement all Workplace Safety and Health Initiatives
• Conduct Workplace Safety and Health audit and incident investigations
• Produce Site Workplace Safety and Health Report on regular basis
• Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and statutory requirements
• Co-ordinate Workplace Safety and Health Meeting and conduct safety briefing at sites, toolbox meeting and training.
• Conduct regular inspection of worksite and recommend reasonably practical control measures at sites
• Provide briefing to new hires about the workplace safety
• Maintain mandatory records and other documentation as may be required by the regulatory authorities.
• To attend site inspection with regulatory officer during the audit.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• WSH Level C or Diploma or Degree in EHS Engineering.
• Preferably a MOM Registered WSH Officer
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in EHS field, experience in Semiconductor industry is highly preferred
