Job summary

A leading company in the fluid connectors industry is seeking an Account Manager (Sales) to join their professional Field Sales Team. The ideal candidate will develop new customer bases across various sectors such as industrial and oil & gas, and manage existing channels. This role requires a strong background in engineering, with at least five years of sales experience. Competitive salary and allowances are provided, along with a work-from-home option on Fridays.

Qualifications

Account Manager (Sales) - Fluid Connectors

Location: Redhill

Working Time: Mon -Thurs (in office), Friday (WFH) - 8.30am - 5.15pm

Salary Range : $4,500 - $6,500 (max)

Monthly Transport Allowance : $800

Monthly Mobile Allowance : $60

REPORTING LINE: Local Division Director – FCS

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: You work as part of a professional Field Sales Team introducing our fluid and gas couplings; robotic tools changer starting with customers (channels, end user, system integrator, OEMs) prospect visits, calls and e-mail, evaluating solutions and finally get the sales orders, determinate your daily work.

Main Responsibility:

  • Develop new customers base in Singapore with a strong focus on industrial, IT-cooling, chemical, pharmaceutical segment as well as oil and gas applications.
  • Sales channel – partners and distributors development and management.
  • During customer/prospect visits/phone calls you require to understand their applications and introduce our solutions to address these applications
  • Maintaining existing customer (channels, end user, system integration, OEMs)
  • Follow up running projects closely.
  • Document your activities in our CRM system.
  • Support for marketing activities like exhibitions and social media.
  • Feedback regularly about market trends and received competitor information/analysis.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics)
  • Minimum of 5 years experiences in sales, channel development and management
  • Hands on experience in fluid mechanics industry eg. Instrumentation, valve, fluids couplings
  • Chemical/Pharma/Petrochemical/Oil & Gas industry experience will be a plus.
  • Proficient in computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)
  • Experience working with CRM would be advantageous.
