6 Months Regional Finance Supervisor - APAC ($7000 to $8000)

8.30am to 6pm (Mon to Fri) with 1-hour lunch break

Job Summary

This position supervises financial operations across Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, and Korea, and manages Concur expense reporting for the region, including Singapore and China), ensuring compliance with local regulations and supporting strategic decision-making across the region. The role involves close collaboration with in-house Accountants, local outsourced accounting service providers and internal stakeholders to maintain continuity and excellence in financial management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily financial operations for all four countries, including vendor payment review and approvals, cashflow management and local compliance with statutory filings.
  • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes for all four countries.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with USGAAP and local financial accounting standards.
  • Consolidate regional financial results and provide insightful analysis to senior management.
Concur Expense Reporting
  • Review and validate monthly expense reports prepared by outsourced service providers, ensuring compliance with global and local travel and expense policies for all regional entities, including Singapore and China.
Outsourced Accounting Oversight
  • Oversee relationships with local outsourced accounting service providers in Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, and Korea.
  • Review and validate financial reports, tax filings, and statutory submissions prepared by external partners.
  • Ensure service providers meet contractual obligations, compliance standards, and reporting timelines.
Compliance & Controls
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, including regional or multi-country exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of USGAAP; good to have local accounting standards in Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, and Korea.
