Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Senior Lab Technician for a 6-month contract. The candidate will conduct laboratory analysis, perform quality control inspections, and assist with document generation. Ideal candidates have a NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology and some QA & QC experience. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma holder from Chemical Process Technology preferred.
• Some prior experience in QA & QC preferred.
• Proven working experience as a lab assistant.

6 months Contract Senior Lab Technician (up to $3000/ Office hours)

JOB SCOPE:

• To conduct daily laboratory analysis of finished goods, raw materials and other related testing.
• To work closely with production team to perform in-process quality control (QC) inspections at production lines.
• To assist in generating COAs/COCs and provide administrative support including QA review and approval in the SAP system.
• To perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance for analytical instruments.
• To perform routine and safety program checks within the laboratory.
• To practice safe work habits, including complying with all EHS rules and regulations.
• Be able to conduct laboratory investigations when required.
• Any other ad hoc tasks and short-term projects which the supervisor may assign from time to time.

Requirements:

• NITEC or Diploma holder from Chemical Process Technology (Industrial Chemistry) preferred.
• Some prior experience preferred in QA & QC.
• Proven working experience as a lab assistant.
