Job description

We are currently partnering with a firm in the search for a Contract Accountant / Finance Manager to support their finance team for a period of 6 months.

In this role, you will play a key part in managing the month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all accounting-related work. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate general ledger accounting
• Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Provide ad-hoc support and financial insights as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Immediately available
