RRecruiter in Singapore seeks a Mechanical Engineer to develop mechanical designs for systems and sub-systems, collaborating with system engineers to define requirements and specifications.

You will design components, select parts, analyze tolerances, and integrate motion systems while coordinating with internal and external design partners and vendors to meet design quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–5 years of mechanical design experience for Engineer level.
• More than 5 years for Senior Engineer.
• Experience in automation, semiconductor equipment, machine design or precision engineering.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD or other 3D/2D CAD software.
• Good understanding of mechanical design, drawings, tolerances and engineering principles.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with System Engineers to establish mechanical design requirements and specifications for systems and sub-systems.

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies, including component selection, tolerance analysis, motion systems and system integration.

• Prepare designs for manufacturing and support equipment installation at customer sites.

• Lead or coordinate with internal and external design partners for co-development projects.

• Manage external vendors and contractors to ensure sub-systems are delivered according to design specifications, quality and reliability requirements.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during equipment assembly, testing, validation and customer-site deployment.

• For Senior-level candidates, provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and design partners.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.

• Candidates with 1–5 years of mechanical design experience will be considered for Engineer-level positions.

• Candidates with more than 5 years of relevant experience may be considered for Senior Engineer.

• Experience in automation, semiconductor equipment, machine design or precision engineering is an advantage.

• Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD or other 3D/2D CAD software.

• Good understanding of mechanical design, drawings, tolerances and engineering principles.

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
