Overview

QC Laboratory Supervisor

Location: Jurong Island (Company transport from Jurong East MRT)

Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 8am–4.30pm

Salary: $4000 – $5500

Benefits: AWS, Bonus, 15 Days AL, Lunch & Medical Allowance, Flexi Benefit $1000/year

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Lab Assistants in testing raw materials, in-process, and finished products
• Assign daily tasks, ensure timely completion, and support QC Manager on product classification
• Troubleshoot quality issues, monitor in-process samples, and coordinate with production teams
• Prepare reports, highlight recurring issues, and recommend improvements
• Oversee staff performance, lab equipment, and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Train, coach, and support lab staff and technicians

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Chemistry or related field
• At least 5 years’ hands-on experience in wet chemistry testing
• Proficient with lab equipment (GC, AAS, Auto-titrator, NIR, etc.) and manual testing methods
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced QC environment
• Good communication and cross-department collaboration skills
