Overview

Assistant QA Engineer

Working Hours: 8:15am – 5:45pm (Monday to Friday)

Basic Salary: $2,300 – $3,000

Location: Tuas

Benefits: AWS, Bonus, Annual Leave from 14 days

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and outgoing parts according to procedures and specifications.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure product quality.
• Maintain accurate quality records and proper documentation.
• Report quality issues to QA Manager and relevant Production Managers.
• Segregate and control non-conforming products until corrective action is taken.
• Approve or reject parts based on inspection results and release approved parts for delivery.
• Perform routine factory tests and on-site commissioning of switchboards.
• Support official tests with surveyors, consultants, or customers.
• Assist in achieving departmental quality objectives and maintaining safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure use of calibrated instruments and adherence to Quality Management System procedures.
• Propose and implement corrective actions to prevent product non-conformities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.
