Job Description:

1. Ensure the effective performance of the stores through the management of the retail team and the implementation of company policies and procedures with a hands-on approach to the business, focusing on high levels of attention to detail to maximize sales and profitability.
2. Responsible for the company's retail operations stores.
3. Contribute to the business strategy of sales and business development.
4. Establish control and manage stock levels to ensure optimal stock par levels through analysis of sales figures, trends, and forecasting future sales.
5. Manage store merchandising, sales events, and stock management.
6. Ensure service excellence among the retail team members.
7. Coach retail teams to provide exemplary product knowledge to assist customers with their buying decisions.
8. Handle customer queries in a professional manner.
9. Ensure that the stock level in the store is within acceptable thresholds.
10. Work closely with the Merchandising / Logistics team on stock replenishments and deliveries.
11. Investigate and report all loss prevention issues to management.
12. Recruit, build, and develop the retail team with the HR department.
13. Manage employee morale, attrition, and absenteeism.
14. Ensure all new team members are well trained and integrated into the new environment.
15. Coach team members to ensure achievements of customer service standards, retail KPIs, sales targets, and expectations are met consistently.
16. Assist the Head of Operations with team member objectives and monitor/review their performances regularly.
17. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to the team for improvement, identify potential team members, and propose promotions.
18. Plan and manage employees’ work schedules to ensure sufficient coverage on the shop floor.

Minimum 5 years of retail or FMCG experience in managing a large sales team or multi-store model.
