Tencent Games / IEG Global invites a motivated master's or PhD candidate to join our research lab in Singapore. You will work on mesh reconstruction, geometry simplification, and LOD/HLOD generation, exploring differentiable rendering and learning-based methods to optimize 3D assets for games.

You will design experiments, compare visual quality and silhouette accuracy, and build reproducible prototypes with engineers to assess practical value in real-time rendering pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3D geometry processing or related graphics research.
• Ability to propose and test experimental methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsabilités

• Research and prototype mesh processing methods and LOD generation.
• Explore differentiable rendering and learning-based geometry processing concepts.
• Design experiments comparing visual quality, geometry accuracy, and cost.
