Job summary

OSIM International Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Design Development professional to conceptualize and implement retail design concepts for stores, roadshows, and product launches. The role emphasizes use of 3D Max, Photoshop, and related visuals to enhance the retail experience.

Responsibilities include collaborating with territories, overseeing materials and lighting specs, and ensuring consistency with brand values and HQ guidelines; fast-paced environment with opportunities to mentor peers.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Exhibition Design or Architecture with 3 or more years of experience.
• Proficient in 3D Studio Max and Photoshop; Corona renderer and AutoCad a plus.
• Strong multi-tasking, problem solving, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Good verbal and written communication; bilingualism a bonus.

Job description

1. Design Development

• Conceptualize new design ideas for Retail Store, Roadshows, Product Launches, Product Display with the use of 3D max, Photoshop and other Visual Presentations that will enhance retail experience.

2. Design Implementation

• Work closely with assigned territories to ensure consistent depiction and application of the design concept.

• Monitor, Specify, Review Design elements (ex: Materials, Lights, Drawings) to ensure proper execution of the design concepts.

• Ensure consistent depiction and application of the Retail Concept Design, that is aligned to the company's brand values, personality and HQ concept Guidelines.

3. Design Innovation

• Continuously improve and enhance the Retail Experience through user feedback, observation and research.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Exhibition Design or Architecture with 3 or more years of experience.

• Good understanding of design development process: concept development, design development, costing, timeline and resources needed to effectively deliver results.

• Must be proficient in 3D Studio Max and Photoshop. Other software like Corona renderer and AutoCad will be a plus.

• Highly motivated, idea driven, open-minded, and eager to find new and creative ways (on top of given direction) to improve established processes, standards and guidelines.

• Strong multi-tasking and problem solving skills, able to function independently and as part of the team and be able to mentor and motivate peers and team members.

• Effectively bilingual with good verbal and written communication skills will be a bonus.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ability to balance multiple simultaneous projects.

• Self-motivated individual with positive attitude, attention to detail and consistency of quality work.

• Making judgement call, when work is not going in the right direction. Able to critique own work, accept feedback from team members & stakeholders, and redirect own work with limited supervision.
