Job description

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the steam system and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor plant performance through BMS and DCS systems; respond to alarms and system deviations.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve equipment issues or safety risks.
• Lead boiler and plant operators to maintain compliance with process and emission standards.
• Support plant optimization initiatives and implement improvements under the Site Manager’s guidance.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operations and maintenance.
• Analyze steam system performance and report findings regularly.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and recover from process upsets.
• Maintain accurate records in the CMMS for maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.

Requirements

• Registered Class 2 Steam Engineer (MOM/Singapore Polytechnic).
• Familiar with FMEA, HAZOP, and Job Hazard Analysis.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
