Position Overview

Seeking talented 2D Animator/Illustrator to join our team in Singapore. This dual role involves creating compelling animations and developing storyboards that translate creative concepts into visual narratives for commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D animations for commercial projects
• Develop storyboards that effectively communicate creative concepts
• Produce concept art and visual designs
• Collaborate with directors and the creative team to understand and execute the project vision
• Create character designs and backgrounds
• Ensure animations meet timing and style requirements
• Participate in client presentations and feedback sessions
• Stay current with animation techniques and trends
• Maintain organized files and project documentation
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance projects

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in 2D animation and illustration
• Must be based in Singapore
• Portfolio demonstrating strong 2D animation and illustration skills
• Proficiency in industry-standard animation and illustration software (Adobe Creative Suite, ToonBoom, etc.)
• Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, weight, etc.)
• Excellent drawing and storyboarding abilities
• Good sense of composition and color theory
• Ability to adapt to different animation and illustration styles
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional experience beyond the required 6 years in commercial animation or related field
• Experience with character animation
• Knowledge of motion graphics
• Understanding of film language and cinematography
• Experience with digital painting
• Background in advertising or commercial production
