Job summary

A leading consultancy in Singapore is looking for a Safety Officer who will ensure compliance with safety regulations on site. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in safety coordination and project management, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. This position operates Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary range reflecting the responsibilities and qualifications required.

Qualifications

• Relevant 1 to 2 years experience as a Safety Officer.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and PC literacy.
• Experience in site coordination and safety management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safety rules in accordance with SOPs.
• Prepare documents for risk assessments.
• Provide monthly safety orientation meetings.

Job description

• Working Days: 5 Days (Mon-Fri)
• Working Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm
• Location: Ang Mo Kio
• Salary $2,800 - $3,500

Responsibilities:

• To carry out Safety rules accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions at site.
• To set expectations and establish core emergency response skill and knowledge to undertake the responsibilities of a Site Incident Controller (SIC).
• To prepare documents for risk assessment and method statement.
• Provide monthly meetings on safety orientation to Technical staff
• To do drawing for project sites using Auto-cad for draughting.

Requirements:

• Relevant 1 to 2 years’ experience for Safety Officer and safety co-ordination work.
• Advance Certificate in Workplace safety and Health (Level B and Above.)
• Preferably with experience in site coordination, project management (PM), and installation works.
• Advantageous to have experience in service and facility maintenance for hospitals, nursing homes, and industrial sites.
• Proficient in MS Office, PC literate, and well-versed in AutoCAD drawing.
