CPF Board invites you to join #TeamCPF as a Cloud Infra Engineer Intern, delivering cloud infrastructure solutions and contributing to security frameworks that protect citizens’ data. You will work within an agile team, gaining hands-on experience across cloud operations, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

This full-time internship runs from January 2027 to June 2027, offering hybrid work arrangements, formal and informal training, and opportunities for growth within a collaborative

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrates keen interest in technology, particularly cloud systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.

What you will be working on

The Citizen Disbursement Systems Department is responsible for the development, maintenance, and operation of systems facilitating governmental fund distribution to citizens via social transfer programs such as Assurance Package, Silver Support, GST Voucher, and Workfare Income Supplement. As a Cloud Infra Engineer Intern, you will be part of an agile team working to deliver business objectives.

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with the team to conceptualise, design and deploy cloud infrastructure and workloads, ensuring seamless support for various systems operating on the cloud environment.
• Gain valuable insights into cloud operations and contribute to ongoing enhancements in processes and procedures, aiming for optimised outcomes.
• Dive into the CD systems security framework, refining strategies to bolster data and asset protection, and fortifying the system's defences against potential threats.
• Collaborate with the team to address the long‑term requirements of CD systems, optimising computing resource utilisation, and enhancing the consistency and efficiency of system functions.
• Collaborate with the team to conceive, design, and implement cloud‑based CI/CD pipelines and related functions, ensuring seamless support for diverse application development teams and facilitating smooth development and release processes.
• Develop tools and features to monitor cloud environments, enhancing the visibility and understanding of system operations within the cloud infrastructure.
• Delve into the DevOps security framework to bolster the security posture of the DevOps platform and establish policies, standards, and guidelines to govern the DevOps environment effectively.
• Work with the team to address the evolving needs of continuous delivery systems, optimising CI/CD pipelines and releases to improve efficiency, scalability, performance, and transparency across the DevOps platform.
