Job summary

CPF Board in Singapore invites interns to join the Enterprise Technology & Architecture Department (EAD) to design, build, and support enterprise technology platforms powering CPF's digital services. You will work with experienced teams on real projects and gain hands-on IT experience.

You will explore API development, Java and Python, and frontend frameworks while contributing to data-driven enterprise solutions. This six-month internship emphasizes learning, collaboration, and impact.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Some hands-on experience or coursework in API development.
• Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Framework, or Spring Batch.
• Basic experience with Python programming.
• Exposure to frontend UI frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries.
• Basic understanding of, or strong interest in, Generative AI and prompt engineering.
• Exposure to agile development methodologies would be an advantage.
• Enthusiasm for learning software development practices, application design, and enterprise technology delivery.
• Communicates clearly, both in speaking and writing.
• Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.

What you will be working on

The Enterprise Technology & Architecture Department (EAD) provides strategic technology direction by setting enterprise architecture standards, driving governance, and supporting key enterprise on-premise/cloud applications in CPFB. These applications enable the delivery of digital services to CPF members and support important business operations within the organisation. As an intern in EAD, you will gain hands-on experience in designing, building, and supporting enterprise technology platforms that power CPFB's digital services. You will work alongside experienced teams and gain real-time IT experience. In this role, you will:
