Job summary

ExxonMobil in Singapore is seeking an engineer to provide engineering expertise for the Singapore Manufacturing Complex, ensuring safe and reliable operations through assessments, design, troubleshooting and long-term equipment improvements.

You will support project developments, Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests, assist during major shutdowns, act as the engineering point of contact for the process unit, and share knowledge through training within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical (Power) Engineering or Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving mindset.
• Able to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise support to the Singapore Manufacturing Complex for safe and reliable operations.
• Perform engineering assessments, design, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and long-term equipment improvements.

What you will do

• Provide engineering expertise support to the Singapore Manufacturing Complex for safe and reliable operations
• Responsibilities include engineering assessments, engineering design, troubleshooting, root cause failure analysis & solutions and long-term equipment improvement initiatives
• Provide engineering expertise support for project developments, Factory Acceptance Tests & Site Acceptance Tests in the Singapore Manufacturing Complex
• Support maintenance & inspection work during major shutdown
• Engineering point of contact to assigned process unit
• Provide engineering expertise training within organization

What you should have

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical (major in Power Engineering), Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering. Candidates with no experience are welcome.
• High analytical capability & commitment to high standard in resolving engineering issues
• Adaptable, good interpersonal skills & effective team player with good communication skills to work in cross functional organization
