Job description

  • Position : Accounts Assistant (AP/ AR)

  • Location : West (Bus stop nearby - 2 minutes walk / Nearest MRT - Joo Koon - 8 minutes walk)

  • Working hours : Monday to Friday/ 7.30am to 4.30pm OR 8.30am to 5.30pm - NO OT REQUIRED/ WORK LIFE BALANCE/ 2 Days per week WORK FROM HOME after confirmation

  • Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $3500 + $100 monthly transport allowance + AWS + Up to 2 months variable bonus + 14 days annual leave + 1 day Birthday leave per annum

  • Duration : Permanent

  • Industry : Rubber Products Manufacturing MNC Industry

Main Responsibilities:

1. Billing & Invoicing

• Issue debit/credit notes & miscellaneous invoices.

• Ensure accurate & timely payments;

investigate discrepancies.

• Handle customer invoice & payment inquiries.

2. Month-End Closing & Reporting

• Manage AR & AP closing, aging reports, and expense analysis.

• Prepare electronic & petty cash payments.

• Perform bank reconciliation.

3. Expenses & Reimbursements

• Process staff claims, overseas office expenses, and advances follow-up.

• Maintain cash flow forecasts & bank accounts.

4. Compliance & Purchasing

• Submit GST filings.

• Manage local purchasing (supplies, maintenance), POs, and deliveries. - (Full training will be provided for this job scope)

Requirements:

  • LCCI or Diploma in Accounting/Business Studies

  • With 1 relevant accounting experience

  • Computer literate with strong Excel and database program skills

  • Team worker and ability to work with cross functional team members and in a fast paced environment

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only.
