Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore) invites applications for a Research Associate in the Psychology and Child & Human Development Department for a 12-month contract. The project investigates parents' roles in children's transition from preschool to primary school.

Candidates have a Master’s in psychology or related field, strong knowledge of child development theories, and experience working with families.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in psychology or a related field.
• Good knowledge of child development theories and research.
• Prior experience with working with parents and children is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to liaise with families and preschools, and to lead/train student assistants in fieldwork and data collection.

Aufgaben

• Carry out participant recruitment for the project.
• Manage the data collection schedule for the research team.
• Participate in the training of student research assistants.
• Carry out fieldwork, data coding, and analysis.
• Participate in manuscript preparation and dissemination of study findings.
• Other responsibilities related to project management.
