Job description

1. Develop Competitive Pricing for Global and Regional Tenders

• Understand service needs and gather relevant data (e.g. shipping profiles, customer targets, RFQs).
• Support pricing strategy discussions and provide justifications.
• Work with sales and customer teams to align on pricing requirements.
• Use cost analysis tools to calculate customer-specific pricing (e.g. special services, handling needs).
• Ensure consistent pricing across countries, products, and weight breaks.
• Maintain clear documentation and communication of pricing details.

2. Manage and Review Customer Pricing

• Analyse pricing effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Conduct profitability reviews and track implementation outcomes.
• Support new surcharge rollouts and pricing changes.
• Prepare pricing reports and scorecards.

3. Improve Pricing Processes

• Maintain and update pricing tools and databases.
• Benchmark rates and support pricing simulations.
• Suggest and implement improvements to streamline pricing tasks.
• Ensure pricing records are accurate and up to date.

4. Support Global Pricing Team and Projects

• Act as a go-to person for pricing support.
• Assist with large and complex regional or multi-country bids.
• Contribute to internal pricing boards and decision-making.
• Take part in various pricing-related projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience in pricing, commercial analysis, tender management with familiarity in logistics or supply chain operations is a plus.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with data analysis tools or pricing systems.
