Job summary

Recruit Express Group is seeking a Programme/Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of banking projects across multiple business lines in Singapore. You will ensure timely delivery in line with business objectives and regulatory requirements, partnering with stakeholders from Business, Operations, Technology, Risk, Finance, Compliance and Data.

You will develop estimates, plans and timelines, lead cross-functional teams, manage risks, and drive process improvements.

Job description

• Manage a portfolio of banking projects and strategic initiatives across different business lines, ensuring timely delivery in line with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with business and functional teams to deliver business transformation, migration, implementation and change initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across Business, Operations, Technology, Risk, Finance, Compliance, Data and Group functions.
• Work with business stakeholders and project teams to understand and validate business requirements, assess proposed solutions and provide recommendations to ensure solutions are aligned with business needs, operational requirements and customer expectations.
• Develop project estimates, implementation strategies, project plans and delivery timelines covering all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams through requirements gathering, process mapping, business analysis and solution implementation, ensuring clear and comprehensive project documentation.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of banking projects, including scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and deliverables, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed objectives and timelines.
• Coordinate with relevant business and functional teams to ensure appropriate resources, capabilities and subject matter expertise are available throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with stakeholders to manage operational, regulatory, technology and business risks, escalating key issues and dependencies to senior management where appropriate.
• Support the implementation of process enhancements, operational improvements and control initiatives across banking operations and business functions.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing, implementation readiness, migration activities and post-implementation reviews where required.
• Prepare and present project status updates, management reports, key risks, issues and performance metrics to senior management and relevant governance forums.
• Ensure project deliverables are aligned with the bank's policies, governance frameworks, risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by the Head of Business Management / COO.
• Undertake other ad-hoc banking initiatives and project assignments as required
