Job summary

Century Education Group Pte Ltd is looking for freelance/part-time tutors to provide one-on-one tutoring in Humanities subjects and Economics for students aged 7 to 18 in international schools here. We handle direct contact with parents throughout the tutoring assignments.

Tutoring rates per hour vary from SGD 45 to SGD 100 depending on student grade and tutor qualifications. Responsibilities include preparing customised lessons, monitoring progress, and writing term progress reports.

Qualifications

• Needs to be patient and engaging with diverse learners.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly to middle/high school students.
• Excellent communication with parents and students throughout the tutoring period.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one tutoring for secondary/ JC/ international school students.
• Prepare and customise lesson materials to student needs.
• Support students in exam preparation and coursework.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback after each class.
• Assess students regularly according to curriculum requirements.
• Write term progress reports as required.
• Maintain punctuality and professionalism.
