Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Project Engineer to supervise, execute and coordinate project activities with a team of engineers and technicians, guiding projects to completion while monitoring schedule and costs.

You will work closely with consultants and clients to define security requirements, perform system programming and troubleshooting during implementation, and ensure compliance with ISO45001 safety standards and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma/Higher Nitec in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or any related Engineering course.
• Relevant experience in site supervision and project coordination.
• Hands-on experience in alarm, card access and CCTV systems or related ELV systems.

• Salary Range: $3,000 - $4,200
• Working Days: 5 days, Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 8.30amto 5.30pm
• Location: West – Jurong East / Toh Guan

Job Summary

As a Project Engineer, your main responsibility is to supervise, execute and coordinate project activities together with a group of Engineers and Technicians leading to successful project completion. You will monitor and control projects to ensure they are on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards. You will also work closely with consultants and clients to ensure project delivery according to requirements. In addition, you will be required to perform system programming and troubleshooting during project implementation.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Design

• Collaborate with sales staff to understand sales orders and client requirements.
• Work with clients to confirm and understand security needs and requirements.
• Reconfirm security design and solutions including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and other security systems before execution.
• Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Manage contractor allocation and procurement of materials with the Project Manager.

System Installation and Integration

• Oversee installation of security systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Integrate various security systems.
• Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality.

Technical Support

• Address technical and system malfunction issues during handover stage.
• Provide technical information to Service and Operations teams during handover.

Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare and maintain detailed and accurate project documentation including design plans and installation records.

Client Communication and Training

• Assist with system training sessions for clients or end-users on system operations and best practices.
• Prepare system training slides for internal and external training.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure all security systems comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Implement safety protocols during installation and maintenance activities.
• Stay updated on advancements in security technology and industry trends.

Team Coordination and Management

• Coordinate with project stakeholders including subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Liaise with suppliers on equipment models and quotations.

Quality Assurance

• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure systems meet performance standards.
• Implement best practices for installation and maintenance.
• Adhere to safety and health procedures under ISO45001.
