Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. seeks a Mechanical Technician to install and repair mechanical equipment at client sites in Singapore.

You will read simple drawings, follow specifications, maintain service records, and support on-site engineers while complying with HSE regulations. Overtime may be required on weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• ITE / O/N level or related trade qualification.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as Mechanical Technician in manufacturing.
• Familiar with hand tools such as hand drill, tap wrench, rivet gun.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation and assembly of mechanical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards during installation and assembly work.
• Maintain accurate service records and work reports.
• Support Engineers and Managers on site during equipment buy-off.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, following HSE regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth job execution.
• Able to work overtime on weekdays and weekends.
• Hand on for sheet metal rework; touch up paint; read simple drawings.

Job description

• Location: Depends on client premises
• Working Days: 5 days (include weekend)
• Working hours : 8am-5pm
• Salary : $1,600 to $2,000 (depend experience)

Job Purpose:

To perform installation and repair of mechanical equipment, and machinery at the site, ensuring safe and efficient operations in line with company standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out installation and assembly of mechanical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and standards during installation and assembly work.
• Maintain accurate service records and work reports.
• Support Engineers and Managers on site during equipment buy-off.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, following HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations of both company and client’s policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams be in company or client for smooth job execution.
• Able to work overtime when required i.e. weekdays and weekends.
• Able to hand’s on for sheet metal parts rework as belowAble to touch up on paint workAble to perform sheet metal part alignment during assemblyAble to read simple drawing to rework on parts

Qualifications & Experience:

• ITE / ‘O’ or ‘N’ Level or related trade qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Technician in manufacturing, or related industries. Sheet metal environment preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools, like hand drill, tap wrench, rivet gun etc…
