Overview
Role: Contract Manager
Project contract based. Estimate completed in 2027.
Project Work Location: Changi, office at Lavender.
Working days: 5.5 days, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, alternate Saturday full day.
Salary: $6000 to $8000 (depends on experience).
Qualifications
- Candidates with QS or Contracts background is advantageous.
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in Civil Works.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera and AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
- Liaise and assist Managing Director in responding to requests for quotation from prospective local and overseas clients.
- Manage and coordinate preparation of pre-tender documentation, respond to tender clarifications and amendments, attend tender meetings leading to award of tenders.
- Prepare contract documents for contract administration and review the commercial aspects of contracts and agreements with clients and sub-contractors.
- Assist Project Managers in preparation of monthly progress payments and ensure successful claim of progress payments.
- Attend site meetings with project staff as required.
- Assist project managers in preparation of variation orders and maintain comprehensive records of work alterations and design amendments.
- Liaise closely with main contractor and Client’s QS regarding claims and negotiation of claims and finalization of accounts.
- Prepare budgets and cash flow projections in conjunction with directors, project managers, and financial controller.
- Assist in negotiation of sub-contractor packages and preparation of sub-contractor or supplier agreement letters.
- Analyse scope of work in projects and contracts for effective contract administration in conjunction with interpretation of architectural and shop drawings.
- Liaise with financial controller and project managers on cost control and financial administration.
- Monitor project cost and prepare general financial administration.
- Report cost history for contract negotiation and budgeting.
