Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Yard Hand / Depot Assistant in Malmö to support day-to-day depot operations, equipment preparation and stock management. The role suits those who enjoy practical work, keeping things organised and collaborating within a team.

You will work with engineers and logistics teams to ensure equipment is safe, maintained and ready for customer projects, with opportunities to grow within the depot and operations functions.

We're looking for a Yard Hand / Depot Assistant to join our Malmö team. This is a hands‑on, varied role supporting day‑to‑day depot operations, equipment preparation and stock management. About The Role

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our depot operates safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Working closely with engineers, logistics teams and depot operations, you’ll help prepare equipment for customer projects, maintain stock accuracy and keep the yard, workshop and storage areas organised and ready for action.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in a depot, warehouse, logistics, rental, industrial or operational environment who enjoys a practical, hands‑on role with opportunities to develop and grow.

What You'll Do

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and organisation across the depot, yard, workshop and storage areas.
• Prepare, clean, inspect and organise equipment, including cables, hoses, ducting and accessories ready for deployment.
• Manage equipment movements, ensuring assets are booked in and out accurately and stored in designated locations.
• Support stock and stores activities, including receiving deliveries, checking materials and monitoring inventory levels.
• Assist engineers and depot teams with loading, unloading and preparing equipment for customer projects.
• Identify and report damaged, missing or non‑compliant equipment and ensure appropriate action is taken.Support the efficient day‑to‑day operation of the depot and contribute to a positive team environment.

You’ll Bring

• Experience working in a depot, warehouse, yard, logistics, rental, manufacturing or similar operational environment.
• A practical mindset and willingness to work hands‑on with equipment and materials.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and confidence updating records and stock information.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to safety and quality in everything you do.

Desirable

• Forklift or material handling experience.
• A forklift licence, or willingness to undertake training.
• A valid driving licence.
• Experience working with industrial equipment or rental assets.
