Job summary

Ericsson Lund XR Lab is seeking a curious researcher to shape the next generation of consumer devices. You will prototype by combining sensors, 3D printed parts, and software to demonstrate new ideas on real devices.

You will lead experiments, communicate findings to stakeholders, and stay close to where human-computer interaction is heading. Strong Python, Unity, and AI tooling skills are required.

Qualifications

• Solid coding skills with Python as main language.
• Experience building interactive prototypes, ideally in Unity or similar real-time env.
• Fluency with AI coding tools as part of daily workflow.

Responsibilities

• Explore what connected consumer devices can do across devices.
• Build prototypes by combining off-the-shelf sensors, 3D printed parts, and software.
• Build interactive demos to communicate and validate concepts.
• Take a leading role in the XR Lab, driving experiments and defining lab focus.
• Write up research findings clearly for internal stakeholders.
• Scout emerging technology and stay close to HCI trends.
