Job summary

Integro Consulting söker en Senior Wiring & Harness Engineer som ska ansvara för utveckling av elsystem och kabeldragning i bussprojekt i Göteborg. Du kommer leda installation och media routing, och dokumentera ny design i SABER och CATIA V5.

Vi söker en noggrann och ansvarstagande tekniker med ledaregenskaper, vana av komplexa fordonsprojekt och goda engelska kunskaper. Arbetet sker i nära samarbete med plattformsutveckling och projektteam.

Qualifications

• Masterexamen i elektroteknik eller motsvarande erfarenhet.
• Stark kunskap i Saber för 2D kabeldesign.
• God kännedom om CATIA V5, särskilt kabeldragning och förläggning.
• Erfarenhet av media routing-lösningar som kabelbunter, pneumatiska rör eller bromsslangar.
• Analytisk och strukturerad arbetsstil.
• Hög ansvarstagande och äganderätt.
• Ledarskap och förmåga att leda tekniska aktiviteter.
• Engelska på professionell nivå.

Responsibilities

• Designa och utveckla elektriska kabelstrukturer och installationslösningar för bussar.
• Leda och stödja komponentinstallation och media routing.
• Utveckla och dokumentera nya lösningar i SABER och CATIA V5.
• Undersöka och utvärdera befintliga och nya lösningar dokumenterade i KOLA och CATIA.
• Utveckla och hantera routing och förläggning av kabeldragning och kablar.
• Arbeta med media routing-krav som pneumatiska rör och bromsslangar.
• Stödja PIL-aktiviteter och genomföra designjusteringar under projektets gång.
• Samarbeta med projektteam och Plattform Development för att möta krav och mål.
• Ta ägandeskap över tekniska utmaningar och leda aktiviteter vid behov.

About the Role

Integro Consulting is looking for a Senior Wiring & Harness Engineer to join our client's team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will contribute to the development of electrical wiring harnesses and installation solutions for buses, ensuring that designs meet technical requirements, packaging constraints and project specifications.

You will work closely with project teams and other engineers within Platform Development to develop new solutions, improve existing designs and ensure high-quality technical documentation. The role also involves taking the lead in component installation and media routing activities, contributing your technical expertise and supporting project teams in solving complex engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical wiring harnesses and installation solutions for buses.
• Lead and support component installation and media routing activities.
• Develop and document new design solutions using KAP and CATIA V5.
• Investigate and evaluate existing and new technical solutions documented in KOLA and CATIA.
• Develop and manage routing and packaging solutions for electrical wiring harnesses and power cables.
• Work with other media routing requirements, including pneumatic pipes and brake hoses.
• Support PIL activities and implement design adjustments throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with project teams and Platform Development to ensure that solutions meet technical requirements and project objectives.
• Take ownership of technical challenges and lead activities when required.

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented engineer with the ability to take responsibility and drive engineering activities forward.

Required qualifications

• A master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or a related field, and/or several years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of Saber for 2D wiring design.
• Good knowledge of CATIA V5, particularly electrical wiring harness and power cable routing and packaging.
• Experience with media routing solutions, such as electrical harnesses, pneumatic pipes or brake hoses.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach to engineering.
• A high level of commitment, accuracy and ownership.
• Leadership skills and the ability to take the lead in technical activities and projects.
• Professional fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with Volvo Group systems and development processes.
• Familiarity with KOLA and related engineering documentation.
• Experience developing and maintaining electrical installation solutions in complex vehicle development projects.
