Job summary
A leading engineering solutions provider in Gothenburg is seeking a Wiring Engineer with expertise in 3D/2D routing and electrical schematics. This role supports the development of wiring harnesses in the automotive sector, ensuring compliance with electrical design requirements. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree and proven experience with CATIA V5 and Saber. The position offers flexible working hours and a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering.
- Proven experience in wiring harness design in the automotive sector.
- Strong knowledge in CATIA V5 (3D routing & 2D drafting) and Saber (schematics).
- Understanding of vehicle electrical architecture and design principles.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2D harness drawings including bill of materials.
- Create and update electrical schematics using Saber.
- Collaborate with component owners and system engineers for harness design.
- Drive problem-solving related to wiring harness deviations.
