Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Wind O&M team in Markbygden, Sweden. The role focuses on maintaining wind turbine generator systems, diagnosing faults, and coordinating with contractors to ensure safe, high-quality site work.

Based in Sweden, this permanent onshore position requires strong technical skills, English fluency, and the ability to manage onsite tasks with attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Professional training in electrical engineering (electrician, power electronics, mechatronics).
• Ability to diagnose and remedy faults using PLC systems.
• Fluency in English; Swedish is a plus.
• Hold a valid Class B driving license.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and planned maintenance on wind turbine systems.
• Perform complex fault analysis and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with internal and external contractors to ensure safe, efficient site work.
• Manage technical documentation and service reports to maintain maintenance history.
• Serve as primary contact for clients on technical queries and retrofits.
