Job summary

Boden in Sweden is seeking a skilled welder for a construction project. The role requires experience with MAG, TIG, arc or stick welding, and the ability to read drawings. EU citizens or those with Swedish work permits are eligible.

The contract runs 10–11 months with on-site accommodation, flights and PPE covered. Welders will work under the site team leader or welding manager. You will follow safety and quality procedures, prepare parts, weld, inspect, and keep the site organized.

Qualifications

• Experience as a qualified welder.
• Knowledge of MAG, TIG, arc/stick welding.
• Welding licences/certifications required where applicable, including processes 111, 136, 138, or 141.
• Ability to read drawings and welding instructions.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic English or French.
• EU citizenship or Swedish work permit required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out welding work according to safety, quality and productivity requirements.
• Assemble metal parts and structures through welding.
• Read and follow welding instructions, drawings, and work procedures.
• Prepare parts before welding and check components before assembly.
• Perform welding with approved equipment and tools.
• Clean welds and metal surfaces after welding.
• Check the quality of completed work.
• Store tools and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Report incidents, hazards, or issues to the supervisor.
• Follow safety, environmental and PPE rules on site.
