Job summary

UMS SKELDAR in Linköping is seeking an experienced UAS Flight Manager to lead and develop our flight operations and crews, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient performance.

This role blends operational leadership with strategic development of processes, training, and interfaces with Remote Pilots, Maintenance, and authorities. English communication is essential, and travel may be required. Start: Immediately with regard to notice period.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in flight operations management, aviation ops, or a similar leadership role.
• Formal education or training in aviation, aerospace, UAS, or military aviation.
• Relevant UAS pilot license, certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily UAS flight operations with safety and efficiency.
• Develop and coach flight crews, including Remote Pilots and Technicians.
• Drive safety, risk management, audits, and SMS improvements.
• Ensure readiness by reviewing procedures, records, and approvals.
• Act as liaison with authorities, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and performance.
