UMS Skeldar is seeking a Technical Instructor to train and develop others on our advanced UAS systems. You will join the Support and Training teams, delivering classroom and hands-on sessions, including hangar, simulator, and ground-station training.

We are now looking for a Technical Instructor with a strong technical interest and a genuine desire to teach and develop others. You will be an important part of building our training team and will have the opportunity to help develop our training activities and take Skeldar's training to the next level.
You will be part of the Support department, which supports our customers and end users throughout the entire product lifecycle. The department works with customer support, training, technical documentation and integrated logistics support (ILS), as well as technical issues related to our systems.
You will be part of the Training team, which is responsible for delivering and continuously developing our courses and training programmes. This includes both classroom-based theory and practical elements in the hangar, simulator or ground station.
To operate our system, two pilots and at least one technician who are authorised on the system are required. As an instructor, you will be responsible for training and examining pilots and/or technicians within our system.
You get a solid introduction to the role and the system through internal training, initially working alongside experienced colleagues. The role mainly involves travel to locations within Sweden, but international travel may also occur.
Take responsibility for training and instructing users in our system
Deliver training courses both in Sweden and internationally
Plan training sessions and prepare training materials
Further develop our training together with the Training team
Conduct evaluations and follow up on training activities
Conduct training primarily in English

You have strong collaboration skills, take responsibility for your tasks and drive them forward in a structured way. You are communicative and comfortable adapting and communicating technical information to different target groups. As the work environment is dynamic, we also see that you are flexible and enjoy working with varied tasks.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have experience in an educational role, for example as a UAS instructor, flight instructor or other type of instructor within a technically advanced organisation. It is an advantage if you are a trained flight technician, pilot or have another relevant technical education, as well as experience working with technically complex products or systems. A background as a military instructor or UAV operator, or experience with larger UAV systems, is considered an advantage.
The position requires a good command of English, both spoken and written, as the courses are primarily conducted in English.
