Could we improve accessibility for people with visual or hearing impairments too?To explore this, several research areas are available:Lip-syncing: Supporting lip-readers during audio calls using virtual avatars.Specialized audio transcription: Enhancing speech-to-text accuracy in noisy environments.On-device speech synthesis: Generating speech in resource-constrained environments.Prosody modeling: Creating natural rhythm and intonation in generated speech.Language identification: Automatically detecting spoken languages in real time.GoalIf any of these topics interest you, we can define a tailored thesis or project goal together.
