Job Name-Test Engineer - Wireless Connectivity

Role Overview:
This role requires working across both hardware and software domains to validate wireless protocols, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure seamless connected experiences for end users. You will design and maintain automated regression suites, analyze logs and traces, and collaborate closely with development teams to improve connectivity modules. The insights gathered will shape future autonomous and connected features across residential and professional product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- TestBluetooth, Wi-Fi, GNSS, Radio, and Cellular modulesacross various environments and hardware board variants.
- Verifybackend/API connectivityand ensure end-to-end data flow stability.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintainautomated regression testsfor connectivity modules; integrate new test cases into CI pipelines and nightly rigs.
- Analyzelogs, network traces, and protocol capturesto isolate issues across module, board, system, or backend layers.
- Convert repetitive manual test steps intoautomation scripts (Python).
- Contribute totest plans, traceability matrices, coverage reports, and release notes.
- Supportfocused field-testing sessionsto uncover new edge cases and connectivity challenges.
- Publishdashboardsshowcasing pass/fail results, coverage metrics, and test flakiness trends.
- Collaborate with developers to prioritize defects from field and internal teams, design new tests, and drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ yearsof experience testingwireless connectivity(Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GNSS, Cellular) and backend/API data flows.
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles (ISTQB or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience withsniffers, protocol analyzers, log interpretation, and packet-level debugging.
- Proficiency inPython scriptingfor automation.
- Experience withCI toolssuch as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Comfortable withgray-box testingand working across hardware/software boundaries.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to write clear, structured defect reports.
- Valid driver’s licenseand willingness to travel for on-site field testing.
