Job summary

Zenovo in Västerås is seeking a Test Development Engineer - Electronics and Embedded Systems for a 12-month on-site assignment starting in October.

You will develop electronics and embedded systems from idea to product, involving design, testing, verification and sometimes programming in C++.

A background in hardware and software, schematics, measurement tech, and English language is required, with Swedish defence project security requirement.

Qualifications

• University degree in electronics or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with electronics hardware, schematics and signal integrity.
• Ability to read technical docs and work from specifications.
• Experience in testing, verification and measurement technology.
• Hardware-near programming in C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop assembly and detailed designs such as cabling, drawings and circuit boards based on requirements specifications.
• Read, interpret and work from technical documentation.
• Use, develop and improve measurement technology to ensure product quality and performance.
• Perform testing, verification and troubleshooting of instrumentation and electronic products.
• Participate in the various phases of product development – from concept to finished solution.

Job description

Role: Test Development Engineer - Electronics and Embedded Systems

Contract: 12 months

Working arrangement: On-site, 5 days per week

Rate: 750 SEK per hour

Start: October

Please note this is working on a Swedish defence project, as such you need either a Swedish passport or Swedish citizenship.

Test Development, you will work on the development of advanced engineering systems – from idea to finished product. You will be involved in design, testing, verification and, in some cases, programming of electronics, in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

The work requires a good overall understanding of both hardware and software. You have experience working with schematics, signal and integrity analysis as well as electronics.

As a Test Engineer with us, you will, among other things:

• Develop assembly and detailed designs such as cabling, drawings and circuit boards based on requirements specifications.

Your profile
