Job summary

Histon & Impington Brook Primary School is seeking a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team on a term-time basis, working 25 hours as a Teaching Assistant and 6.25 hours as a Midday Supervisor. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:15pm, with a separate Midday Supervisor contract attached.

The salary ranges from £14,511 to £14,971 for the Teaching Assistant position, with an additional Midday Supervisor salary.

Qualifications

• GCSE English & Mathematics (Grade C/4) or above.
• Experience of working with children, particularly in Key Stages One/Two.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Adaptable and resourceful with a good understanding of safeguarding issues.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning activities and targeted interventions.
• Work closely with SENDCo team and class teachers to provide high-quality assistance.
• Deliver in-class support and help manage activities inside and outside the classroom.
