Job summary

Wellspect Healthcare in Mölndal, Sweden, seeks a Technical Product Manager to join the R&D team on a temporary basis to oversee product lifecycle from development to post-launch improvements.

The role involves leading Design Control, coordinating technical deliverables, and driving sustaining activities for released products while collaborating across multiple functions to maintain safety, compliance, and competitiveness.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years in medical device development or regulated industry.
• Experience with Design Control and Change Control.
• Experience with PLM systems for development and lifecycle management.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Design Control activities within new product development projects.
• Drive and coordinate product changes through lifecycle of released products.
• Support development, transfer, launch, and maintenance of medical device products.
• Lead cross-functional assessments related to design, materials, manufacturing processes, suppliers, packaging, and product performance.
• Ensure technical documentation compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
• Drive sustaining activities related to quality improvements, supply continuity, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Procurement, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams.
• Support investigations, root cause analyses, risk assessments, and problem-solving activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of products, processes, and ways of working.
