Job summary

Tre is expanding its architecture function to shape the Nordic telecom technology landscape. The Technology Architect, Cloud, Compute & Infrastructure will own cloud and infrastructure direction across Sweden and Denmark, defining target architectures, standards and reusable patterns for scalable platforms.

You will collaborate with security, IAM, and engineering teams to enable resilient, cost-efficient platforms and modernization initiatives that support Tre’s growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive cloud/infrastructure architecture experience across large environments.
• Strong Microsoft Azure knowledge and hybrid cloud design expertise.
• Proven ability to define target architectures and roadmaps.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers and automation tooling.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code and automated provisioning.
• Solid understanding of resilience, DR and operational readiness.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.

About the role

As our Technology Architect, Cloud, Compute & Infrastructure, you will own the architecture direction for Tre’s cloud and infrastructure capabilities across Sweden and Denmark.

You will define target architectures, standards and reusable patterns for cloud platforms, compute, hosting, containers, automation and workload placement.

Working closely with platform engineering, security, architects and engineering teams, you will help create scalable, resilient and cost-efficient platforms that support Tre’s future technology landscape.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will:

• Define and evolve Tre’s cloud and infrastructure strategy and roadmap.
• Establish principles for cloud adoption, workload placement and platform governance.
• Define architecture direction for Azure, hybrid cloud, containers and infrastructure platforms.
• Establish reusable Infrastructure as Code, automation and platform patterns.
• Drive modernisation, migration and legacy retirement initiatives.
• Define requirements for resilience, disaster recovery and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with Security, IAM, platform engineering and DevSecOps teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide architecture recommendations.

We believe you have

Must-have:

• Extensive experience in cloud, infrastructure or technology architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Experience defining cloud or infrastructure target architectures and roadmaps.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated provisioning.
• Strong understanding of resilience, disaster recovery and operational readiness.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills in English.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience from telecom or another large regulated environment.
• Experience leading cloud or infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD and platform engineering.
• Knowledge of NIS2 and infrastructure security requirements.
• Azure, Kubernetes or architecture certifications.
