Nordic Investin is seeking a Software Architect in Sweden to define practical architectural directions and guide major design choices. You will balance strategy with delivering concrete, testable implementations and ensure production behavior remains reliable and maintainable.

You will work with product, domain and ops teams in short cycles, making decisions visible in a record of tradeoffs and ensuring teams can move independently while maintaining governance.

Nordic Investin is recruiting a Software Architect on behalf of one of our partner companies. You want architecture to improve delivery decisions, not become a layer of diagrams detached from the code.

The partner is aligning several products and engineering teams around a clearer technical direction. You will define practical principles, support major design choices and help teams modernise without freezing delivery.

The environment will suit someone who enjoys building systems, testing assumptions in code and taking responsibility for production behaviour. Technical choices are expected to be explained in terms of maintainability, reliability and the people who use the product.

How you will work

You will work in short delivery cycles with direct access to product, domain and operational colleagues. The partner expects engineers to review designs, test assumptions early and follow important changes into production. Decisions should be recorded clearly enough that another engineer can understand the tradeoff months later.

This is a leadership role with hands on responsibility for direction, decisions and the capability of others. You will create enough structure for teams to move independently, while stepping into detail when risk or ambiguity demands it. The partner wants visible ownership without unnecessary hierarchy.
