Tata Technologies in Sweden seeks a Technical Specialist focused on Siemens Teamcenter UA and Cortona3D RapidAuthor to own the integration landscape and data flows across RapidCatalog, RapidCompiler, and downstream systems.

You will lead installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of Teamcenter UA and RapidAuthor tools, design and implement PLM solutions, monitor performance, and collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter UA and integrations.
• 3+ years supporting Cortona3D RapidAuthor suite (RapidAuthor, RapidCatalog, RapidDeveloper).
• Hands-on experience with Teamcenter client-server customization using C/C++ with ITK and SOA frameworks.

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Specialist with expertise in the Siemens Rapid Suite and Teamcenter Integration. In this role, you will own the Rapid suite and its integration with Teamcenter from a technical perspective, with a focus on RapidCatalog and RapidCompiler. You will ensure that applications, integrations, and data flows remain reliable and efficient. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, software vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and continuously improve the solution landscape.

What You Will Do

Integration Ownership

• Own the full Teamcenter–Rapid integration and its data flows to downstream systems.

Installation and Configuration

• Lead the installation, deployment, and configuration of Siemens Teamcenter Unified Architecture (UA) and the Cortona3D RapidAuthor suite.
• Maintain 2-Tier/4-Tier clients, File Management Servers (FMS), dispatcher servers, and native CAD integrations.

Application Lifecycle Management

• Configure, maintain, and support RapidCatalog and RapidCompiler, including upgrades, deployments, and lifecycle management.

Solution Design and Architecture

• Architect, design, and implement complex PLM requirements.
• Manage system environments and lead infrastructure modernization initiatives.

System Administration

• Manage application configurations, user access privileges, custom stylesheets, and publishing templates across the technical documentation lifecycle.

Authoring and Component Management

• Support and use RapidManual, RapidCatalog, RapidGenerator, and RapidDeveloper within both Teamcenter Rich Client (RAC) and Active Workspace (AWC) environments.
• Produce high-quality 2D/3D interactive parts catalogues and technical manuals.

CAD and BOM Integration

• Coordinate and maintain automated pipelines that translate engineering CAD geometries and Bills of Materials (BOMs) into structured publication data.

Customization and UI Development

• Drive Teamcenter client-server customization using C/C++ with ITK and SOA frameworks.

Cross-Functional Workflows

• Align technical publications and PLM workflows with engineering changes, Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOM), Service Planner modules, and standard change management workflows across large-scale, multi-supplier, multi-location ecosystems.

Problem Solving and Production Support

• Troubleshoot complex application, configuration, data, integration, infrastructure, and solution issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement real-time solutions in live production environments.

Content Validation

• Validate catalogue content and ensure 2D and 3D spare parts information is delivered correctly to web and desktop applications.

Stability and Monitoring

• Monitor platform stability and proactively identify issues before they impact operations.
• Act as the technical point of contact for Siemens and Cortona3D.

Documentation

• Document configurations, processes, and procedures to reduce dependency on external vendors and improve knowledge sharing.

• 3+ years of experience supporting and using the Cortona3D RapidAuthor suite, including:

Customization and UI Development

• Hands-on experience with:
• Teamcenter client-server customization using C/C++ with ITK and SOA frameworks

CAD and Visualization

• Working knowledge of Teamcenter Visualization, JT data formats, or comparable visualization platforms.

Standards and Schemas

• Practical experience with structured document configurations and standards including:
• PLMXML
• XML
• SGML

Data Flows and Integrations

• Experience working with XML-based data flows, APIs, and system integrations.

Technical Content

• Understanding of 2D and 3D technical content, product structures, and spare parts catalogues.

Problem Solving

• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems across multiple systems and technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
