Job summary

Aurora Engineering AB seeks a Senior Technical Product Owner to take ownership of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform. You will shape the roadmap, manage the backlog, and steer the platform development at the intersection of finance and IT.

Initially focus on financial processes within D365 F&O, with potential expansion into property management, Power Platform, integrations, automation, and third-party solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on product-oriented experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
• Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and finance-related processes.
• Previous experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Owner, ERP Product Owner, Platform Owner, Functional Lead, or similar.
• Demonstrated ownership of roadmaps, backlogs, prioritization, and platform development.
• Strong understanding of finance and business processes.
• Ability to translate business needs into requirements and sustainable system solutions.
• Technical understanding of system architecture, integrations, APIs, and modern enterprise platforms.
• Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments involving both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Owner to take ownership of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) platform.

You will be responsible for the platform's roadmap, backlog, prioritization, and overall development direction, working at the intersection of business, finance, technology, and IT.

Initially, the role will focus primarily on financial processes within Dynamics 365 F&O. Over time, the scope may expand into areas such as property and rental/lease administration, Power Platform, integrations, automation, and third-party solutions.

This is not a purely functional consultant role and not a traditional Scrum Product Owner position. We are looking for someone who combines strong D365 F&O expertise with genuine product/platform ownership and technical understanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the D365 F&O roadmap, backlog, priorities, and platform direction.
• Translate business and finance requirements into sustainable technical solutions.

• Several years of hands-on, product-oriented experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
• Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and finance-related processes.
• Previous experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Owner, ERP Product Owner, Platform Owner, Functional Lead, or similar.
• Demonstrated ownership of roadmaps, backlogs, prioritization, and platform development.
• Strong understanding of finance and business processes.
• Ability to translate business needs into requirements and sustainable system solutions.
• Technical understanding of system architecture, integrations, APIs, and modern enterprise platforms.
