Job summary

Avaron AB is seeking a Product Owner to define, shape and prioritize the product backlog, aligning with customer value and technical feasibility. You will stay close to customers and stakeholders, ensuring teams understand context, goals, scope and the product domain to deliver value.

You will lead architectural and technical discussions, influence decisions across the organization, and help cross-functional teams navigate complex integration landscapes to deliver customer value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as Product Owner or similar in cross-functional teams.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale services and integrations.
• Inspires and supports teams to deliver value.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Facilitates architectural and technical discussions.
• Influences decisions across organization and contexts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Experience with API adapters connecting heterogeneous systems.
• Knowledge of REST, SOAP and event-driven architectures like Kafka/MQTT.

Responsibilities

• Define, shape and prioritize the product backlog based on value and feasibility.
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders and delivery to align priorities.
• Create shared understanding of context, goals, scope and domain.
• Act as a central connection point with Engineering Manager, Delivery Manager and Scrum Masters.
• Resolve impediments across teams, customers, delivery and company levels.
• Contribute to ways of working, requirements and change initiatives.
• Support architectural and technical discussions related to APIs and integrations.
