Job summary

CellaVision in Lund, Sweden, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to ensure world-class support for laboratories and partners. You will troubleshoot, install and train customers remotely or on-site, supporting multiple markets.

The role involves collaboration across teams, travel within Europe and internationally (~20 days/year), and providing expert technical service for our digital microscopy solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or another relevant technical field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, Windows environments, computer hardware and networks.
• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software, hardware and connectivity issues.
• Experience delivering technical training, education, or customer support.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues remotely and on-site.
• Replicate customer-reported issues in-house to identify root causes and solutions.
• Install instruments and software, perform preventive maintenance and repairs at customer sites.
• Deliver technical support and expertise to customers, distributors and internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors' service organizations.
• Design, plan and conduct technical training sessions remotely and on-site.
• Participate in customer seminars, workshops and educational activities.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Quality and other functions to improve support processes.
• Contribute to service documentation, technical notes, training materials and service manuals.
• Gather customer feedback and market insights to support product development.
