Job summary

GP Bullhound in Stockholm is seeking an Associate to join its technology investment banking team. You will work on sell-side and buy-side M&A, private placements and IPOs, advising entrepreneurs, corporates and financial investors across Europe.

The role emphasizes financial modeling, sector expertise in software, fintech, digital media, marketplaces, and digital services, with a collaborative, international environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity or corporate M&A.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to connect strategy to financials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Working on investment banking projects in the technology sector, often in a cross-border setting.
• Financial modeling (LBO, DCF, merger models), valuation analysis, preparing pitch books and client presentations, and coordinating due diligence processes.
• Supporting dealmakers in origination by independently doing first meetings with entrepreneurs and financial investors
• Building your own network with the next generation of technology leaders in the Nordics
• Coordinate with and lead co-advisors including legal advisors and financial and commercial consultants
• Develop valuable sector expertise in GP Bullhound’s focus sub-sectors (software, fintech, digital media, marketplaces/e-commerce, and digital services)
