We are looking for an experienced Textile & Rug Designer to join our Stockholm-based design team for a maternity cover of at least six months. The preferred start date is in early December.
As Nordic Knots continues to evolve from a rug brand into a comprehensive textile house, you
will play an important role in developing our collections across rugs and textiles. Working closely with the Creative Director and our designers, you will translate creative concepts into distinctive, high-quality and production-ready designs.
This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong design sensibility, solid technical knowledge and the confidence to take ownership of projects from initial concept through development and final production.
You will develop original designs across rugs and textiles, ensuring that each product reflects Nordic Knots’ creative direction, quality standards and modern design language. You will balance creative ambition with technical feasibility, commercial considerations and production requirements.
You are an experienced designer with a strong understanding of textiles, rugs, color, pattern and material development. You combine creative instinct with technical precision and are comfortable moving between early-stage ideas and the detailed work required to bring a product into production.
You are confident working independently and driving your own projects forward, while also enjoying close collaboration with creative, technical and commercial colleagues. You bring sound judgment, a solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to maintain momentum in a fast-moving environment.
This is a full-time maternity cover for a minimum of six months.
