The Tanto School AB is seeking a flexible, positive SYV professional for a 25% role focused on Åk 8, with plans to introduce Åk 9 in 2027‑28. We are a small, welcoming school with English as the teaching language and a family atmosphere.

You will provide student career guidance, support upper secondary school applications, and contribute to educational planning across the school. Fluency in English and Swedish is required, and you will work with warmth, care, and a strong commitment to equity

Role Description: Responsible for student career guidance, upper secondary school application preparation, and educational planning across the school, with focus on Åk 8. We currently do not have an Åk 9 but will do in 2027-28.

Requirements: Qualified Study and Vocational Guidance Counsellor degree with a strong interest in youth counselling and educational equity.

This is a 25% SYV role.

The position is 25% (part-time), as we are a small school with small class sizes, and is semestertjänst employment. We offer flexibility in how working hours are structured during the week.

This person should be fluent in English and in Swedish.

Tanto International School was established in 1983 and is a fully licensed international primary school for ages 6-15, with a nursery for ages 1-6.
